The history of Motorcycle Sports in Kenya goes hand in hand with Rally Sports in Kenya. Our oldest club is East African Motor Sports Club (EAMSC) registered in 1956. EAMSC ran various disciplines of motorcycling sports including Speed Way, Trials, MotoX, Enduro/Cross Country and Rally Raid. Over time, and due the drop in the number of competitors Speed Way and Trials no longer take place.
Our most recent additions to our sports is closed circuit racing on asphalt tracks. In 2019, we hosted the first Super Bike / Super Sport series in Kenya. The challenges are finding adequate length circuits and lack of club culture in this sector.
