Licence required to enter

All riders must hold a valid 2026 MSFK Competition Licence. EAC riders must also present a Start Permission from their FMN. No licence, no start.

VMX Veterans 125cc+ · 35–49 yrs 12 min + 1 lap

WMX Ladies 85cc–Open · 10 yrs & over Combined class

Minimum 3 riders at registration to constitute a class. VMX Veterans and Masters race together as one combined class.

Race Programme — Sunday 12 July 2026

Venue: Jamhuri MX Track, Nairobi  ·  Track open 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Time Activity
07:00 AM Track opens. Signing-in & Scrutineering begins. Sign-in closes 08:45 AM. Scrutineering closes 09:00 AM. Late fine: KES 500.
09:10 AM Jury Meeting — officials only
09:30 AM Mandatory Riders' Briefing — all riders must attend, in half-gear. Attendance is compulsory.
09:50 AM Practice begins. First lap of every class under yellow flag — no jumping, no overtaking.

VMX Veterans & Masters (combined)

Ongoing Heats 2 & 3 follow in the same class order. Minimum 90 minutes between heats per class (never less than 60 mins).
After heats Provisional results posted on Official Notice Board — 30 minutes after final heat
~3:45 PM Final results posted after Jury Meeting
~4:30 PM Prize Giving & Podium Ceremony. Top 3 per class per heat must attend the podium immediately after each heat before returning to paddock. Non-attendance may result in forfeiture of prizes and championship points.

Times are a guide only. Classes may be combined for practice at the CoC's discretion. The Practice Order may differ from the Race Order and will be announced at Riders' Briefing.

Eligibility & What to Bring

Valid 2026 MSFK Competition Licence for Motocross

Mandatory for all riders. EAC riders must also hold a licence from their FMN and present a valid Start Permission. Apply for your licence →

Valid 2026 MSFK Medical Clearance

All riders must have completed their 2026 medical before the event. Confirmed at sign-in.

Proof of Identity & Age

National ID, birth certificate, or valid passport — required when competing in a new class or at your first race of the season.

Compliant Motorcycle — presented for scrutineering

Full technical inspection on the day. Maximum 2 bikes per rider. All bikes must meet FIM Africa Motocross Technical Rules.

Full Mandatory Safety Gear

FIM-compliant helmet (mandatory all classes), motocross boots, gloves, goggles — all presented at scrutineering. Chest protector mandatory for MX 50, MX 65, and MX 85 Lites. Elbow/knee guards and neck brace strongly recommended for all.

ADAK Anti-Doping Compliance

All riders are subject to ADAK, FIM, and WADA regulations. You are strictly liable for any substance in your body. Check the prohibited list at adak.or.ke. TUEs must be approved before competing.

Environmental Mat in the Pits

Bikes must be on environmental mats at all times in the pit area. Fuelling only on mat with engine off. No open flames. No riding motorcycles in the pits. Instant fines apply for non-compliance.

No Outstanding Fees or Arrears

Riders owing MSFK or the Promoter any monies or having any arrears will not be permitted to enter or participate in the event.
