Admission Process

How to Apply

New membership applications are submitted to the MSFK Secretariat with all required documentation. The application is evaluated and a recommendation made to the General Assembly, which holds the authority to formally admit new members. The Board may grant a provisional licence to cover the period between General Assemblies.

1
Write a Formal Application Letter

Address a signed letter to the MSFK Board of Directors on the organisation's official letterhead, formally requesting admission as an Affiliated or Associated Member and setting out your organisation's purpose and activities.

2
Compile & Attach All Required Documents

Submit the following with your application — all items are required and incomplete submissions will be returned:

Membership Application / Renewal Form (2026) — signed by both Chairperson and Secretary
Signed Declaration of Compliance — on club letterhead, using the MSFK template provided
Certified Copy of Club Constitution and any subsidiary regulations (per Article 13.2.1 of the MSFK Constitution)
Certificate of Registration from the Sports Registrar — under section 47 of the Sports Act No. 25 of 2013. Where pending, provide proof of application and reference number
KRA PIN Certificate of the applying organisation
Current Register of Members — up-to-date list of all registered members
Office-Bearers' Details — full names, ID/Passport numbers, positions, mobile numbers, and email addresses
Proof of Payment of Membership Fee — bank transfer receipt or M-PESA confirmation payable to MSFK, A/C 848 571 0018, NCBA Bank Kenya
Annual Report and/or Audited Accounts — where available (per Article 15.7 of the MSFK Constitution)
3
Submission to the MSFK Secretariat

Submit all documents in complete form by email, post, or in person. Incomplete submissions will be returned without processing. The Secretariat will acknowledge receipt and advise on next steps.

4
Evaluation & Provisional Licence

MSFK evaluates the application and may request additional information. The Board may grant a provisional licence to the applicant to cover the period between General Assemblies, allowing the organisation to begin operating under MSFK during the evaluation period.

5
Formal Admission at the General Assembly

New members are formally admitted by the General Assembly — the supreme decision-making body of MSFK. Membership takes effect on the date specified by the General Assembly (Article 13.4 of the MSFK Constitution). Annual renewal is required for continued membership.
