How Membership Works
Organisations may apply to join MSFK as Affiliated Members or Associated Members. Each category carries distinct rights, responsibilities, and obligations as defined in the MSFK Constitution.
Organisations licensed by MSFK to participate directly in the governance and sporting activities of the federation. These are the core sporting clubs that run, enter, and organise MSFK-sanctioned competitions.
Non-competitive organisations and community groups that align with MSFK's mission beyond competition — including touring clubs, road safety advocates, training providers, and sport development bodies.
How to Apply
New membership applications are submitted to the MSFK Secretariat with all required documentation. The application is evaluated and a recommendation made to the General Assembly, which holds the authority to formally admit new members. The Board may grant a provisional licence to cover the period between General Assemblies.
Address a signed letter to the MSFK Board of Directors on the organisation's official letterhead, formally requesting admission as an Affiliated or Associated Member and setting out your organisation's purpose and activities.
Submit the following with your application — all items are required and incomplete submissions will be returned:
Submit all documents in complete form by email, post, or in person. Incomplete submissions will be returned without processing. The Secretariat will acknowledge receipt and advise on next steps.
MSFK evaluates the application and may request additional information. The Board may grant a provisional licence to the applicant to cover the period between General Assemblies, allowing the organisation to begin operating under MSFK during the evaluation period.
New members are formally admitted by the General Assembly — the supreme decision-making body of MSFK. Membership takes effect on the date specified by the General Assembly (Article 13.4 of the MSFK Constitution). Annual renewal is required for continued membership.
