Member Clubs
The Motorcycle Sports Federation of Kenya (MSFK) is supported by a vibrant and growing ecosystem of affiliated and associated clubs that form the backbone of motorcycle sport and culture across the country.
These clubs serve as key engines for talent development, community building, road safety advocacy, and event delivery. Together, they enable MSFK to fulfill its national and international mandate with depth and reach.
How Club Membership Works
MSFK’s membership model is built on transparency, structure, and inclusivity. Clubs may join MSFK as Affiliated Members or Associated Members, each with distinct roles, rights, and responsibilities as outlined in the MSFK Constitution.
-
These are clubs licensed by MSFK to participate directly in the governance and sporting activities of the federation. They:
Can organize MSFK-sanctioned competitions (motocross, enduro, rally, etc.)
Vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Elect and nominate candidates to federation committees
Must adhere to MSFK’s Constitution, Code of Conduct, and FIM regulations
Are required to renew their affiliation annually and comply with reporting obligations
Application Requirements:
Duly filled Club Affiliation Form
Copy of club constitution
List of elected office bearers
Proposed calendar of events
Proof of capacity to organize compliant events (e.g., trained marshals, safety measures)
Payment of affiliation fee
-
These are non-competitive organizations or community groups that contribute to the federation’s objectives. They:
Cannot organize competitive races but may run training, touring, or safety programs
Do not vote at the AGM but may be co-opted into advisory roles
Often focus on leisure riding, youth programs, education, women’s empowerment, or environmental initiatives
Application Requirements:
Letter of intent outlining mission and alignment with MSFK values
Basic governance documents (leadership structure, contact details)
Endorsement from an affiliated club or MSFK official (in some cases)
Payment of a nominal membership fee
-
Submit all required documentation to the MSFK Secretariat
Application is reviewed by the relevant subcommittee (Sporting or Beyond Sporting)
Recommendation is tabled at the Executive Board
If approved, the club receives formal affiliation status and MSFK licensing
Clubs must uphold compliance with all federation rules, especially regarding safety, integrity, and inclusion
-
All clubs (affiliated and associated) must renew their membership each year. This involves:
Updating leadership and activity records
Confirming compliance with the MSFK Constitution
Renewing payment of annual dues
