Motocross (MX)
Motocross is a high-adrenaline, off-road motorcycle racing discipline held on natural or engineered dirt circuits featuring jumps, berms, and varied terrain. With mass starts and close-quarter competition, motocross is one of the most exciting and physically demanding forms of motorcycle sport.
MSFK governs and organizes motocross in Kenya under internationally aligned standards, offering competitive pathways from entry-level youth to elite athletes representing Kenya on the continental stage.
How Motocross Works
Motocross events are contested on closed-loop dirt tracks, combining technical obstacles and natural elevation changes. Races are structured by class, age, and engine capacity, and start with all riders launching simultaneously from a gate drop.
All events are conducted in accordance with the MSFK Motocross Supplementary Sporting Regulations (SSRs) and FIM Africa standards.
MSFK oversees a series of national championship rounds held at premier motocross venues across Kenya. Riders accumulate points over the season toward national titles in their respective categories.
